Waterfall and Stoddard fires.

A Type 3 incident management team (IMT)
led by Mike Smith has been assigned to this complex and assumed command at 8:00
a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2015. Both
fires are burning in steep, rocky, inaccessible terrain. These fires will be permitted to play, as
nearly as possible, their natural ecological roles with the wilderness. Firefighters will be patrolling the river corridor on foot and by
boat starting tomorrow.
Providing for firefighter and public safety is an objective of the
Middle Fork Complex Fire Managers. Hot temperatures
and isolated scattered showers and thunderstorms are predicted in the fire area
through early evening on Friday.
