Mile Marker 14 Fire Closure Areas

The Mile Marker 14 fire, in the Robie Creek area, is approximately 80% contained. Partial road blocks are in effect from 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. today at the intersection of Rocky Canyon and Robie Creek Roads, at Aldape Summit and at the pavement on Rocky Canyon. These blocks will also be in effect on Friday, July 22 from 6:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Only residents will be allowed into the area.
The Army Corps of Engineers closed the Robie Creek Boat dock at 8:00 a.m. this morning and the Mores Creek branch of Lucky Peak Reservoir, t o all boats due to fire activity. They will remain closed until 10:00 p.m.tonight, then re-close tomorrow, July 22 at 6:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The Pioneer Fire, 8 miles north of Idaho City, has burned approximately 1300 acres and is 0% contained. There will likely be impending road blocks in the area, please call this number for further updates.
