DEQ is
lifting an Air Quality Forecast & Caution
The Idaho
Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is lifting an Air Quality
Forecast and Caution to notify residents of Latah County (off the
Nez Perce Reservation) of improved air quality. Air quality is currently in the GOOD category
and is forecast to remain in the GOOD category for the few next days.
The pollutant of concern is Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5).

When air
quality is good, air quality is
considered satisfactory and air pollution poses little or no risk. Please note, wildfires continue to
burn across the northwest and smoke can return with little or no warning. Be
aware of changing conditions to protect your health.

restrictions have been lifted in accordance with the Rules for the Control of Air Pollution in
Idaho (IDAPA
58.01.01.550).
