Berger Butte Fire
       Location: seven miles southeast of Castleford 
       Size: estimated 3,700 acres
       Contain: unknown
       Control: unknown
       Resources: Salmon Tract Rural Fire Department (RFD), Shoshone Basin Rangeland Fire Protection Association (RFPA), Gooding RFD water tender, five engines, one hotshot crew  
       Fuel type: grass and brush
       Fire behavior: smoldering and running
       Structures threatened: no
       Cause: lightning

Crews continue to focus on the southern flank of the fire today. Winds, high temperatures and low relative humidity are creating challenging conditions for fire fighters.
Winter Camp Fire
       Location: approximately 26 miles southwest of Castleford
       Size: estimated 30,000 acres
       Contain: unknown
       Control: unknown
       Resources: Saylor Creek RFPA, Three Creek RFPA, 11 engines, two dozers ,two water tenders, one BLM camp crew, one hotshot crew
       Fuel type: grass and brush
       Fire behavior: smoldering and running
       Structures threatened: no
       Cause: lightning

The southern flank of the fire remains active. Gusty afternoon winds, high temperatures and low relative humidity are creating difficult conditions for firefighters. Additional resources will be arriving throughout the day.
Dog Creek Fire
       Location: eight miles north of Gooding
       Size: estimated 9,000 acres
       Contain: unknown
       Control: unknown
       Resources: Hagerman RFD, Bliss RFD, one dozer, nine engines, three hand crews
       Fuel type: grass and brush
       Fire behavior: smoldering and running
       Structures threatened: yes
       Cause: lightning

Fire fighters worked through the night battling the blaze. The northern flank of the fire remains of concern to fire managers. Difficult terrain, high wind gusts and low relative humidity are creating challenging conditions for fire fighters. Additional resources will be arriving throughout the day.
