Summary: The Artesian Fire has grown to 1000 acres. It is most active on its south and southeast side. Retardant is holding the fire to the north and dozers are working their way around the fire perimeter. The North dozer line corner is holding and is looking good. The fire is being impacted by winds from the North and pushing the fire South. The fire has jumped the dozer line to the south a few times and it has jumped the canal in several places but they were able to corral those sections. The plan is to continue fighting the southward movement of the fire.
