Hudlow Fire Closure Area Rescinded

Hudlow Fire closure area rescinded – Coeur d’Alene River Ranger District

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho (August 27, 2018) – The closure in the Hayden Creek area prompted by the Hudlow Fire has been lifted. The Hudlow Fire, located just north of Hudlow Mountain and less than one mile east of Hayden Lake, was reported on August 22 and has since been controlled.
Forest Service Road #437 (Hayden Creek) and the Hayden Creek area are again open to the public. Crews will continue to patrol the area. Please be aware the hazards of recent fire areas, such as burned out stump holes, loose rocks and logs, and unstable dead trees.
