Start Date: 09/12/2018
Location and Jurisdiction: Started on private land, burning onto BLM and Forest Service, 9 miles northwest of Dubois.
Cause: Under investigation
Fire Size:  7251 acres 
Percent Contained: No estimated containment at this time
Fire Behavior: Active and running
Structures Threatened:  2 ranches located 1/3 northeast of fire and RV campers in dispersed sites on BLM and Forest that are located Northwest of Spencer.
Fuels and Terrain:  Burning in grass and brush 
Fire Crews/Resources: 8 engines, 2 dozers, 1 fuel tender, 1 hand crew, 1 water tender, 3 seats, 1 airattack and 5 overhead
Evacuations: No evaluation
Closures:  Fire crews are ensuring the way is clear for the fire
Summary:  Firefighters are aggressively providing for public safety while providing full suppression on the fire. All crews are actively putting in line, attempting to contain the fire. We are asking for people to move their RV's and campers out of the way of the oncoming fire.
