Hot Springs Fire

●       Location: approximately 25 miles north of Murphy Hot Springs, near the Bruneau Canyon
●       Size: 11,300 acres
●       Containment: 7/23 at 8 p.m.
●       Control: 7/25 at 8 p.m.
●       Resources: two overhead, seven TFD engines, one dozer, one water tender, TFD Camp Crew
●       Fuel type: brush and grass
●       Fire behavior: smoldering
●       Structures threatened: none
●       Cause: lightning

Notch Butte Fire- Final Update

●       Location: approximately half mile east of Notch Butte, south of Shoshone
●       Size: 4,952 acres
●       Containment: 7/23 at 4 p.m.
●       Control: 7/24 at 12 p.m.
●       Resources: two TFD engines, one over head
●       Fuel type: grass
       Fire behavior: smoldering
●       Structures threatened: none
●       Cause: lightning

Fossil Fire-Final Update

●       Location: approximately three miles west of Hagerman, near the Hagerman Fossil Beds National
          Monument
●       Size: 55 acres
●       Containment: 7/23 at 6 p.m.
●       Control: 7/24 at 6 p.m.
●       Resources: one TFD engine, one hand crew
●       Fuel type: grass and brush
       Fire behavior: None  
●       Structures threatened: none
●       Cause: lightning

Lava Fire
●       Location: approximately three miles northeast of Shoshone
●       Size: estimated at 1,300 acres
●       Containment: unknown
●       Control: unknown
●       Resources: two hot shot crews, two TFD engines, one water tender, one dozer, four overhead
●       Fuel type: grass and brush
●       Fire behavior: smoldering and creeping
●       Structures threatened: structures in the area, but not immediately threatened
●       Cause: lightning suspected


Lookout Point Fire
●       Location: approximately 20 miles northwest of Murphy Hot Springs, near Bruneau Canyon  
●       Size: estimated at 2,000 acres
●       Containment: unknown
●       Control: unknown
●       Resources: Three Creek RFPA, one dozer, seven Smoke Jumpers
●       Fuel type: grass and brush
●       Fire behavior: smoldering and running
●       Structures threatened: none
●       Cause: lightning


Waters Fire
●       Location: approximately seven miles northwest of Richfield 
●       Size: estimated at 250 acres
●       Containment: unknown
●       Control: unknown
●       Resources: one engine, one type two hand crew
●       Fuel type: grass and brush
●       Fire behavior: smoldering and running
●       Structures threatened: none
●       Cause: lightning
