Firefighters have taken the upper hand on all wildfires from this weekend. Please be mindful of your activities on public lands. Far too many wildfires occur along roadways. Common causes of roadside fires are sparks from wheel rims when tires go flat, vehicles dragging chains and hot undercarriages pulling off the road into dry grass. Be fire wise out there and don’t let your summer go up in smoke!
