 Start Date: 09/14/2020 at approximately 2:15 P.M. . 

Location and Jurisdiction: 6 Miles West of Blackfoot Reservoir (Private and State)

Cause: Undetermined 

Fire Size: 150 Acres 

Percent Contained:  0% Contained, full containment on 09/15/20 at 6 p.m. 

Fire Behavior: Active Fire Behavior, currently running    

Fuels and Terrain:  Burning in grass, brush and Juniper. 

Fire Crews/Resources: 6 Federal engines as well as Caribou County Resources, 1 water tender (BLM, USFS, Caribou County Fire Department) 1 helicopter, 6 retardant planes are currently working the fire. 

Structures Threatened:  Structures threatened, powerlines in the fire perimeter.

Evacuations:  No evacuations.

Closures:  No closures.   

Summary: Update:  The Blackfoot Mountain Fire started on private land and burned on state.  BLM and Forest Service crew are working in unified command with the Caribou County Fire Department.
