Fall is a very important season for conducting rehabilitation work on public land that has been burned by wildland fire. This week crews are busy planting bitterbrush and sagebrush seedlings in an area north of Gooding that was burned by the Dog Creek Fire. This planting is part of a partnership project with the Mule Deer Foundation to re-establish big game habitat. The crews anticipate planting 100,000 seedlings on over 3,300 acres this week! Huzzah!
